What 'isometric' means here
Strictly, an isometric drawing uses parallel projection with the three axes 120° apart — no perspective. Most 'isometric floor plans' in marketing are really axonometric or slightly perspective bird's-eye views from about 45°. That's what this generator produces: a cutaway with the roof removed and walls cut low, so every room is visible at once.
Isometric vs top-down 3D
- Isometric: more depth and atmosphere; great for listing galleries, social posts and presentations.
- Top-down 3D: matches the orientation of the original plan; easier to compare and better for documents.
- Try both — it costs one credit each at standard quality.
Tips for clean isometric renders
- Simple rectangular plans render most reliably; very complex or curved plans may need a couple of attempts.
- Choose the white-model style for diagrams and presentations where materials would distract.
- Use HD (2K) for print or large screens.
Accuracy
AI image models can still misread a plan — for example merging a small closet into a hallway or drawing a door slightly off. Always compare the render with the original drawing before you publish it; the before/after slider exists for exactly that check. If a render fails outright, the credits are refunded automatically.
FAQ
Is the output a true parallel projection?
Not guaranteed. It's an AI render in an isometric-style bird's-eye view, not a CAD projection.
Can I rotate the camera?
Not in this version. You can regenerate for a different variation.
Can I export vectors?
No — outputs are PNG images.
